The Whiteboard (administrators)
23.1What it shows
On Home, managers and administrators have a Whiteboard button in the Plan row. It's a bigger view of everything happening in every fermenter, the brewhouse and the canning machine: what needs doing on each, and what's already done.
23.2Jobs and assigning them
Each beer's jobs come from its recipe: dry hop 1, dry hop 2 (if you set them), packaging, harvest yeast.
An empty circle means nobody's been given the job yet. Click it to make it a task: pick who, the date, and any notes. To take it off someone, click it and unassign it.
If a beer needs a job that isn't there, click Add a job.
Example: FV3's beer needs a hop sample sent to the lab. Click Add a job on FV3, type it, and assign it to Ken for Tuesday.
23.3Brewhouse and canning machine
The brewhouse and the canning machine each have their CIP, showing when it was last done. Record who did it when it's done, and add other jobs the same way.
23.4The boxes underneath
- Unassigned: every job nobody has been given yet. Press Show all to see them together in a pop-up and assign them.
- Miscellaneous: tasks not tied to any beer. Sort by assigned or unassigned.
- Recurring: the jobs you set up in Settings → Recurring tasks, when they're due. Click one to make it a task and give it to someone. When it's done, the person is cleared and it shows last done by who and when, so next time you choose again rather than it sitting with one person forever.
- Other: reminders such as Weekly HACCP check not signed off: someone has to sign off the week (see Weekly check-off).
- Open beers: beers whose packaging is finished but that haven't been closed out yet. Click one to close it out (see Close out the beer). If it's grayed out, a packaging HACCP check is still missing; hover over it to see which. Clicking a grayed-out one opens that beer's Packaging tab, with the missing checks listed, so you can fill them in and then close it out.
23.5Who's doing what
At the bottom, open each person's list to see every task they've been assigned. Use it to spread the work fairly.
