The recipe list

22.1Open it

On Home, flip the switch at the top of the left panel from Home to Recipe Explorer.

22.2Folders

Your folders are on the left. Make as many as you want, and put folders inside folders: click a folder, and on the right press New Subfolder. You can also drag one folder onto another. (Unfiled isn't a real folder, just where recipes with no folder sit, so it can't hold subfolders.) Drag recipes into folders, and drag folders around to arrange them.

Example: a folder IPAs with subfolders Hazy and West Coast.

22.3Search and filter

  • Search: type a recipe's name, or an ingredient. Example: type Sabro to see every beer you've made with Sabro hops.
  • Style: only one style.
  • Origin: all your beers, or only collabs, or only OEMs.
  • Shared: press it (it turns blue) to see the recipes other breweries have shared (see Share). Each shows the brewery that shared it and the date. Press it again to go back to your own recipes.

22.4Choose your columns

Right-click the column headings to choose which columns to show: ABV, tags, brewery, date shared, version and more. Click a heading to sort by it. This is where tags are useful: show the Tags column and sort by it.

On shared recipes the tax batch number is always blank: it's only for your own brews.

22.5Open a recipe

  • Click once to see its outline, then open it from there.
  • Double-click to open it straight away.
  • Right-click to rename it, duplicate it, move it to another folder or delete it.
